If your brain is capable of consuming anything other than Will Smith hitting Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars, it may benefit you to know that Death on the Nile is now streaming on HBO Max and streaming on Hulu, both of which are free to all members.
Death on the Nile is now available for $19.99 on digital sites such as Amazon as of Tuesday, March 29. On April 5, the film will be released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD.
All of this is to say that you saw Kenneth Branagh win an Oscar for his coming-of-age drama Belfast on Sunday night, and now you can see him as the world-renowned private investigator Hercule Poirot in this mystery based on Agatha Christie’s 1937 novel of the same name. Branagh, who also directed the film, reprises his role from the previous film, Murder on the Orient Express, which was released in 2017. Bouc, his on-screen crime-solving companion, is also returned, as played by Tom Bateman.
Otherwise, there’s a new murder mystery featuring Annette Bening, Russell Brand, Ali Fazal, Dawn French, Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Rose Leslie, Emma Mackey, Sophie Okonedo, Jennifer Saunders, and Letitia Wright, as well as a fresh ensemble of characters. The scene is a cruise ship this time, and the victim is a wealthy heiress whose precious jewellery is taken. Someone on the boat is to blame… but who?
