Omair Alavi began his career as a Sports journalist and moved to Entertainment early in his career. He has been around for over 2 decades and has written for renowned publications like Dawn, The News, Newsline, among others.
Not only does he still dabble in writing about Sports and Entertainment, he has been reviewing films and books for a long time as well. He has reviewed old and new restaurants in Karachi as well as in other cities and plans to do them regularly on his website. After all, food is the national pastime of Pakistan, isn’t it!
He is also the only Pakistani journalist to interview Hollywood stars Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Tom Holland (Spider-Man), and Faran Tahir (Star Trek). Omair Alavi is currently part of the Voice of America team in Karachi and his byline continues to appear in leading weeklies and websites.
