There is more to Marvel super heroes than meets the eye! Instead of being aliens who gain superpowers when they land on Earth, Marvel heroes are mostly normal human beings who gain superhuman strength through accident, and then try to use them to help others.

In 5-Minute Marvel Stories, we get to meet everyone from the Amazing Spider-Man, the Invincible Iron Man, the Uncanny X-Men, the Mighty Avengers and the Courageous Captain America, and follow them on their short adventures where they save the day and the world.

If you didn’t know how fighting-hero-turned-villain Namor was connected to the discovery of an ‘iced’ Captain America, or how the Spider-Man defeated the Sinister Six without prior preparation, don’t worry. This book is full of such adventures that you can enjoy as well as let an elder person in the family narrate to you while going to bed. After all, parents or elder siblings are the best narrators when it comes to super heroes since they know them all, don’t they?

There are as many as 12 stories here featuring your favourite Marvel characters; from X-Men’s first adventure to Captain America’s decision to take Red Skull head-on, from Thor’s mistake to trust Loki to a surprise attack on Tony Stark’s office; this book has everything you ever wanted in a story collection. The stories are short and crisp, the language is easy to understand and the illustrations add colour to the pages. Also, you get to know the origin of most of the Avengers or X-Men, and why they are on the right side!

And that’s not all, nearly every story has a message such as always trust your instincts, never try to take others for granted, always help others so they can help you when you need them, teamwork is better than individual attempts, and, above all, with great power comes great responsibility.

If you didn’t know how Hawkeye became part of the Mighty Avengers, why did Iron Man create a new red and yellow suit, how Spidey captured Sandman when he attacked his school and who Kraven the Hunter wants to defeat to be known as the greatest hunter, you must go through these pages and find your answers. You will not be disappointed!
